youriqs is an interactive self‑insight experience. Your results are personalized estimates generated from your responses and are meant to be informative and fun.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1. By accessing, browsing, or using youriqs (hereinafter "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
1.3. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and youriqs. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those modifications.
2. Service Description and Nature
2.1. Purpose: youriqs provides online cognitive assessments and interactive challenges designed for learning, self-reflection, and entertainment. It is not a medical/clinical service and should not be treated as an official credential.
2.2. Methodology Note: Our assessments draw inspiration from widely used psychometric ideas (for example: nonverbal pattern reasoning, rule discovery, and working-memory tasks). youriqs is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party testing provider.
2.3. Purchases and result access: Users may complete tests at no cost. When a flow offers detailed results or analysis, the checkout screen shows the applicable price before purchase.
3. Results and Important Notes
3.1. Not medical or clinical: The Service is not a clinical or diagnostic tool. Results do not constitute medical advice, therapy, or a professional psychological evaluation.
3.2. Scores are estimates: Scores, percentiles, rankings, and insights are estimates generated from your responses. They are intended for personal insight and entertainment.
3.3. Not an official credential: Results are not an official or certified IQ score and should not be presented as an official measurement to employers, schools, or other institutions.
3.4. Results can vary: Outcomes may change based on focus, fatigue, device, time pressure, practice effects, and other factors.
3.5. Quality and consistency: We work to make the experience fair and consistent, but results can vary across sessions and should be interpreted as estimates.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1. Decisions are yours: You are responsible for how you interpret and use your results. We are not liable for decisions or outcomes based on your use of the Service.
4.2. Liability cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to youriqs for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
4.3. No indirect damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data).
4.4. Assumption of risk: You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk.
5. User Conduct and Responsibilities
5.1. By using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when requested
- Not attempt to manipulate, falsify, or artificially inflate test results or rankings
- Not use automated tools, bots, scripts, or other automated means to take tests
- You may share your personal result summary (for example: the share card or a screenshot) for personal, non-commercial purposes; please do not republish full paid reports in a way that lets others access them without purchase
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our assessment algorithms
- Not misrepresent youriqs results as official IQ scores or clinical assessments
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All content, including but not limited to test questions, algorithms, scoring methodologies, designs, graphics, user interfaces, and software code, are the exclusive intellectual property of youriqs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2. You may share your own personal result summary (for example: the share card or a screenshot) for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6.3. Except for the limited sharing described above, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the Service without prior written consent from youriqs.
7. Payment, Pricing, and Refunds
7.1. Test access: Users may complete tests at no cost. There is no charge for completing a test.
7.2. Price disclosure: When a flow offers detailed results, the checkout screen shows the applicable price before purchase. By proceeding, you acknowledge that you have seen and accepted the displayed price.
7.3. Payment Processing: Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (for example: Iamport and its connected PGs). youriqs does not store full payment card details on its servers.
7.4. Refund Policy (Digital Content):
- All sales are final after access: Once detailed results are unlocked or accessed, the digital content is considered delivered and is generally non-refundable (except where required by law).
- Billing issues: If you believe you were charged twice or experienced a technical issue preventing access after payment, contact [email protected] with your order ID so we can help.
7.4.1. Chargebacks/Disputes: Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled separately by payment providers and card networks. We may submit consent and access logs to respond to disputes.
7.5. Prices may change without notice. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the final price.
7.6. Payment Method Availability: Available methods depend on country, currency, device, and provider approval. Some methods may not be available in your region.
7.7. Restricted Regions: We may block or refuse payments from sanctioned or unsupported regions as required by law or provider policy. If payment is unavailable, you will be notified before checkout.
8. Referral Program
8.1. Users may earn free result access by inviting friends who complete a test (currently 3 referrals required).
8.2. Referral codes are single-use and non-transferable.
8.3. Abuse of the referral system, including but not limited to creating fake accounts, will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any earned rewards.
8.4. youriqs reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time without notice.
9. Service Modifications and Termination
9.1. Right to Modify: youriqs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
9.3. User Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
9.4. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
9.5. Data Retention After Termination: You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].
10. Indemnification
10.1. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless youriqs, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misrepresentation of test results to third parties
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any decisions or actions you take based on test results
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
11.1. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind (express or implied), including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11.2. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that the results will meet your expectations.
12. Changes to Terms
12.1. youriqs reserves the right to revise and update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service.
12.2. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes through the Service or via email.
12.3. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
12.4. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.3. Exclusive Jurisdiction: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea.
13.4. Waiver of Class Actions: To the extent permitted by law, you agree not to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against youriqs.
14. Severability
14.1. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
15.1. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by youriqs on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and youriqs concerning the use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written.
